Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.”
Here are 3 principles to sewing and reaping…
1. Whatever you sow, you will reap.
Sowing and reaping applies to every area of life—not just in your finances. Christians mock God unknowingly all the time!
Disobedience is planting the wrong seed. Broken relationships, poor health, and empty pockets are all the result of planting the wrong seed.
Bad things happen to Christians because of the seeds they plant.
2. You will always reap more than you sow.
Seed not sown is seed not grown. Only you can change your situation and produce a harvest.
You will receive back in the same measure that you give. If you make sewing a lifestyle, every day will be a harvest.
3. You will always reap in a different season.
Sometimes God’s timetable, when He asks you to give, won’t make sense to you in the natural. Keep this in mind: If you’re waiting for the perfect time to sow or give, it will never come!
Will you choose to walk in faith? Or give in to fear?
Your giving is a channel God uses to fulfill someone else’s need—your seed is someone else’s harvest! God uses men and women to flow blessings into the earth.
By walking out the three principles of financial increase, and by keeping in mind the purpose of financial increase—spreading the gospel—you will become prosperous.
If we make it our business to put seed in the ground, God will make it His business to give us a harvest.
